During late January 2004 Georgia's Foreign Minister, Tedo JAPARIDZE, visited London to participate in a NATO-sponsored workshop on Energy Security. Minister JAPARIDZE arrived in London a couple of days early for meetings related to the BTC pipeline project, but took advantage of the opportunity to promote Georgia's broader foreign and security policies through a number of interviews:

On 24 February 2004 Georgia's President Mikheil SAAKASHVILI addressed a public audience at Johns Hopkins University-SAIS in Washington,DC on the subject of "Georgia After the Rose Revolution: Rebuilding Democracy and Stability."
